This week is Christmas in July. Join the merchants on the Marietta

TICKETS ARE ON SALE !! I know it is only July, but October will be
here before you know it and we have 4 upcoming events that people are
already asking to but tickets for. These events will sell out every year.

“Spirits & Spirits Ghost Tours”
$15pp  Normally scheduled for  the 3rd Wednesday
every month. Will be offered every Wednesday in October due to popular
demand. ( Limit 25)
Joni will begin Spirits & Spirits Ghost Tours leaving from
the Marietta Wine Market the every Wednesday in October. Spirits and
Spirits Tours will begin at 7:00 at the Marietta Wine Market and includes
one glass of wine while you listen to some of the area’s ghost stories.
We will then depart at 7:30 into the Square for a one hour walking ghost
tour. (Cost $15pp.) Space is limited and fill up quickly in

Sunday October 4, 2009 BUS TOUR ON THE GEORGIA
WINE HIGHWAY”$85pp (Limit 50 people)

day on the North GA Wine Trail. We will meet at the Marietta Wine Market
at 10am. and begin the day with pastries, coffee & mimosas. Then off
to Dahlonega, GA and our first stop the Wolf Mountain Winery. There we
will enjoy their Jazz Brunch and take a tour of their winery.  From
there it’s off to visit and tour the Blackstock & Three Sisters

12 Day Wine Trip to South Africa with the
Marietta Wine Market April 2009  & More (Limit 26) People. 
In 2007 & 2008 We went to Italy, In 2009 we went to Chile
& Argentina.  In 2009 we are going to South Africa and plan to
go to Australia in 2010.  We can only take a maximum of 24-26
people.  These trips sell out quickly.  We currently have 2-4
slots that are not guaranteed for South Africa. ( Note: deposits are
refundable until October ) Randall & I only can get away for a trip
like this once a year, but Leonardo does trip year round.  We will
be getting together Friday Friday, August
14th
  to taste some South African Wines and

runaway hit that spawned two sequels, Sanders Family Christmas and
Mount Pleasant Homecoming, returns this summer. If you’ve seen the

Tasting at the Marietta Wine Market.  “Halter Ranch” (Open to the

Halter Ranch is a new winery with a rich history.Located on
the west side of Paso Robles, this property dates back to the 1880′s.Bill
Sheffer is the winemaker and was recently in our shop with a selection of
his best wines. Bill focuses on Rhone Varietals and well as Zinfandel,
Tempranillo, and Syrah.This Saturday we will be pouring his Viognier,
Syrah, Cabernet,and G.S.M.

Friday, JULY 31st Glover Park Evening
Concert
Featuring: Grapevine (Rock n’ Roll /Beach) Time:
8:00 PM    Cost: Free
    The
Glover Park Concert Series on the Marietta Square is the place to be in
Marietta the last Friday evening of each month April through September.
The park is the perfect setting for families and friends to enjoy a
picnic and listen to music under the stars. The concerts are part of
Marietta’s year long 175th anniversary celebration.
Concerts are rain or shine. Blankets and lawn chairs may be set up after
4 p.m. No personal tables are permitted in the park. However, they may be
set up on North Park Square after 5:30 p.m. A limited number of tables
are available for rent on the first working day of the month for that
concert.

Jackson Winery in California, and will be pouring their line of Dog House
Wines to help promote the cause. In addition each time a bottle of this
