Marietta is offering free Christmas tree pick up to city residents

4 January 2009 One Comment

The city of Marietta is offering free Christmas tree pick up to city residents the first and second week and the first Wednesday of January 2009. Residents must have their tree — free of decorations, lights, stands, tinsel and nails — curbside by 7 a.m. to ensure pick up.

Residents can also bring their live trees to the Marietta Power and Water Complex, 675 North Marietta Parkway.

There is also Free mulch available…

Trees that are picked up will be recycled into mulch, which is available for free to residents at the Marietta Power and Water Complex.

For more information, call Marietta’s Sanitation Division at 770-794-5581.
