We don’t have a ton of details, but this morning we snapped a picture of the great renovations they are doing at Kennestone Hospital near the Marietta Square.

If you have any details on the project, we’d love to hear what you know – from we can tell from the outside, they’ve done a great job with everything!

That being said, I will say that the new traffic pattern on tower road will remain to be seen if its effective or not. Trying to reach the new Starbucks in Marietta has been pretty difficult in recent weeks with some of the no left turn changes they have implemented heading east on Tower Road toward Church Street.

Construction Updates: WellStar Kennestone Hospital’s campus continues to grow and on Dec. 8 the new Main Hospital Entrance and Blue Parking Deck will open. Also on Dec. 8, the entrance to the Jean and Mack Henderson Women’s Center at Kennestone will be closed off temporarily to allow for the construction of a new medical office building and the demolition of the Purple Parking Deck (located on the corner of Tower Road and Church Street). Please note that this is NOT a permanent closure, but it will be part of an extended project lasting approximately one year. Visitors will need to use the Blue Parking Deck and enter through the Main Hospital Entrance.
