Visit Santa, attend his open house and workshop on the Marietta Square

Join Santa and Mrs. Claus as they arrive December 4 at Glover Park in the Marietta Square. Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with performances by local children’s choruses. Santa makes his grand entrance at 5:20 p.m. He will light the giant Christmas tree, donated by Big John’s Christmas Trees, at 6 p.m. and visit with children in the gazebo until 8 p.m.

Santa’s Open House

The public is invited to visit Santa’s Open House at his holiday workshop in the Marietta Square December 6. Entertainment by local groups will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Santa’s Workshop

The public can visit Santa’s Workshop December 6, 7, 13, 14 and December 17-24. The workshop will be open Saturdays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Sundays from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and weekdays from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Santa will leave the Square December 24 at 3 p.m. and head back to the North Pole before delivering toys and goodies to all good boys and girls. Shops on the Square will be open with unique gifts and holiday treats.

Santa’s Workshop will be closed each day from 1:30-2 p.m. for lunch.

Schedule of events

The city’s Parks and Recreation Department and the Marietta Business Association sponsor this event each year.

Free parking is available weeknights and weekends in the Cobb County parking deck on Cherokee Street. Handicapped parking is also available near the Square.
