The city of Marietta will continue its repaving project with six city streets November 10-November 21
During times of redevelopment, we all must be patient. We’ve heard from our readers the frustrations of some of the surface streets and the shape they’ve been left in by some of the contractors in recent weeks. The good news is that a lot of the streets are being resurfaced over the next couple weeks.
The City of Marietta resurfacing project is scheduled and will continue its repaving project with six city streets November 10-November 21. Below is the list of streets that will be resurfaced – and not soon enough as we’ve heard from some of our readers about the process and complaints that have been filed with the city of the poor surface roads in recent months. This is great news!
* Reynolds Street
* Griggs Street
* West Dixie Avenue
* Latimer Street
* Woods Street
* Merritt Road
Polk Street, Fairground Street and Canton Road will be paved after these roads are completed.
Marietta’s transportation system, which places a high premium on the quality of life of our citizens, is a goal in Marietta’s vision statement.
