Do you run? Even if don’t, come and support the MUST Ministry this Thanksgiving Day at the GobbleJog

The Gobble Jog is a Thanksgiving Day event featuring a 1K, 5K, a 10K run/walk and the Tot Trot (for kids 5 and under). The Gobble Jog is certified as a qualifier for seeding in the Peachtree Road Race and the US 10K Classic.
Last year’s Gobble Jog had nearly 4,700 participants and raised more than $120,000 for MUST Ministries. The funds from last year’s race alone will afford food and school supplies for one child for one year, job counseling for all emergency shelter guests for one year, emergency shelter for 12 different families for one month each, transition assistance for 5 families moving from shelter to permanent housing, and toys for 3,500 children at Christmas time. We are thrilled that this year’s event is expected to draw an exciting 5,500 participants and raise more than $150,000!
MUST is a faith-based, non-profit agency that for 37years has served the poor, hungry, lonely, and homeless in our county and surrounding areas. While the race is taking place in and around the Marietta Square, our volunteer network will be preparing a Thanksgiving buffet to serve more than 2,400 homeless and needy citizens at the MUST Community Kitchen in Marietta.
