If you haven’t gotten out and voted today, go right now. This election is arguably the most important in our nation’s history. Your vote is significant and important - even if you think otherwise.
We’ve been getting reports all morning with voting times as short as 15 minutes near Due West Elementary School in West Cobb, to just over an hour off Highway 41 and Bells Ferry Road. It took our staff just over an hour to breeze through the line this morning. Everyone was friendly and very polite, no loud rioting or any thing to that nature. Remember: you can’t wear anything with political messages to the polls.
It looks like the early voting definitely helped out during the weeks leading up to today’s election. In Cobb County, there were over 140,000 voters that waited in line to vote early. Predictions for the overall turnout are expected to reach greater than 90% of the registered voters in Cobb County (just over 460,000).
Don’t forget, be sure to visit Starbucks today for a dose of FREE coffee - if you haven’t visited the Church Street Starbuucks yet, today would be a great time to venture over. Also, Krispy Kreme will be handing out free donuts if you vote today (Free Krispy Kreme Donuts)
We’d love to hear your voting experience today, just comment on this post below. Do you think there will be any hanging CHAD or other debacle this year?
