It’s now time to put down that remote, turn off the Internet, put aside the video game controller. When is the last time you entered that land of words, where you were lost in a story playing in your imagination? I bring all this up to put a spotlight on our library, the Central Branch of Cobb County. It’s a wonderful facility, complete with a local history and geneology research center (The Georgia Room) and a complete schedule of storytimes for various ages of children. There are also large meeting rooms, which you can apply to use. You’ll be glad you visited and supported our library. Below is a list of storytimes and a link to the library’s website:

* Preschool Storytime Ages 3 - 5 - Tuesday 10:30 a.m.
*Toddler Storytime Ages 18 mo.-2 yrs. - Wednesday 11:00 a.m.
*Family Storytimes All Ages - Saturday 11:00 a.m.
* Mother Goose Time - Birth -17 mo. - Monday 10:30 a.m.
* Book Adventure Club - 9-12 - One Saturday of the Month 3:00 p.m. (2/18, 3/18, & 4/29)
