All Good Things Come in Three’s – a new cool cafe in Downtown Marietta
Nestled right next door to the Strand Theatre renovation project lies a hidden gem in the making. The Three Bears Cafe is a breath of fresh air to the Marietta Square. This quaint little cafe on the Marietta Square has absolutely incredible food and is easily mistaken for a cafe somewhere in the heart of theVirginia Highlands or Little Five Points.
Three Bears Cafe features a unique blend of health and flavor. The menu item that caught my eye first was the Sweet Potato Pancakes which are served with awesome maple butter. They come in three (obviously) and are incredible! They feature breakfast served all day and also have an awesome selection of sandwiches, salads and wraps.
For dinner, their feature item is the marinated ostrich filet served with parmesan risotto and wild mushroom duxelles.
We are a huge fan of this new, hip cafe in Downtown Marietta and suggest you try it out for yourself! You won’t be let down!

[...] This morning, I decided to walk up to the Square for breakfast and a little shopping at the Marietta Farmer?s Market. The weather was ideal for such an outing. I picked up a paper on my way to the Three Bears Caf?. I sat outside, read, enjoyed a healthy breakfast, and basked in the quiet beauty of my surroundings. Afterwards, I walked around the corner and a little down the street to the market. [...]
My family and I went to Three Bears this morning for breakfast, eagerly anticipating a greattime after all I’d read about this place. What a disappointment! Food was either undercooked (ie: potatoes on my plate were barely warm, let alone cooked thru) or completely overcooked (one side of my kids’ pancakes was burnt; potatoes on my husband’s plate were BLACK they were so overdone). Not to mention the amount of time it took to receive our food…almost FORTY MINUTES from the time we ordered…for pancakes, potatoes and eggs? Ridiculous! And no, it wasn’t crowded or particularly busy. I watched how long it took other people to receive their food, and it seemed everyone waited an VERY long time, not just us.
What is the fascination with this place? because they have ‘healthy’ food and there’s a couple of tattooed waitresses, so it makes you feel hip? Fortunately, I know how to make healthy food choices no matter where I go, and I don’t need to be treated poorly at a place that ‘reminds me of Little 5′ to feel hip.
Ugh. Avoid this place at all costs…it was a total waste of money.
